Art Workshops in Yellowknife

Winter 2019 Classes and Dates are available HERE
Registration will Open for the on November 1st for the January classes.
Have you been dreaming of learning to draw or paint? Then join Yellowknife artist Shawna Lampi-Legaree for a range of beginner Drawing, Watercolour and Acrylic classes. The level 1 classes are for the absolute beginner and are a prerequisite for all other classes. This first set of classes will give you assurance in your ability to draw or paint.
The Level 2 and beyond classes build towards advancing students to greater confidence.
Each class I provide very clear step by step instructions and demonstrations to each lesson set. I teach using a “hands on approach” it is my intention that my workshops will help enhance and expand your love for drawing and painting! In each 12 hour course I will really dive into teaching you how to "see" and how to "render what you see".
My workshops are fun and include lots of gentle support and best of all great new friendships. Go here to see what students have shared about their experience. Every workshop is customized for the students attending the workshop.
Advance One Day Open Studio Sessions!
Continuing January 2019 I will be offering 1 day Open Studio sessions for those who have taken the Level 1 and 2 of Acrylic, Watercolour and Drawing. These sessions will allow students to bring their own work and I am there for technical support. Students will be able to continue to gain new skills and build on their art making understanding.
Below is a peak at what it is like to take one of my classes! Enjoy!
