She's Coming Undone
She's Coming Undone

She's Coming Undone Life has a way of surprising each and everyone of us. When the life altering event happens (represented through out the series by the black and white fabric) and the world, as we know it, is turned upside down pretending that life hasn't been altered is common to all. Often we continue on like there has been no change until we begin coming undone (the spiral unzipping). Tear drops are quilting in black so that they are unseen until the viewer comes close, just like the tears a woman cries as she begings to come undone. The words both appliqued and quilted name some of the emotions that women feel at the beginning of the crisis. The rainbow in the spiral holds the pormise that life, though forever changed, will get better once again.
