My oldest son had a benign tumour growing just below his knee under a bundle of nerves. It took us going to three specialists before we found one who would take on this delicate surgery. Alexander called on Monday to say that his surgery was on Wednesday afternoon. I was out of town in 2 hours and drove 1500 km to get to him by Tuesday evening. Thankfully the surgeon was very good at what he does and Alexander has a very slight bit of nerve damage.
I used real staples on this piece. I had fun figuring out how to get the top of the sock onto his leg.
