In March 2002 my husband, youngest son and I went to Nuuk for the Arctic Winter Games. While we were there we went on a boat tour around the capital. The ocean never freezes on the west side of the southern part of Greenland. I was thrilled to come around the corner and see the old town area. All the houses have ocean view that is wonderful. I loved the colours against the snow and the repeating rhythm of shapes.
