Shawna Lampi-Legaree

Shawna began quilting in 1990, moving from traditional quilts to art quilts in 1996. She received an NWT Arts Council Grant that allowed her to begin to explore hand-dyeing fabric, design and new construction techniques. Her work has been exhibited in National and International Juried Shows, as well as at the Museum of American Quilters Society in Paducah, Kentucky. Her workshops she teaches are design, free-motion machine quilting, tsukeniko fabric ink and curved piecing.
