Mechanical pencil .7 or .9 lead

Ice cream pail

Large food Rubbermaid container (to make an inexpensive stay wet palette to keep paint fresh and will hold a 9x12 palette paper comfortably)

Kitchen Paper Towel (whole roll)

Plastic clear ruler - 15 cm (6 inches)

Old clothes, apron or a Lab Coat to cover (get as long as one as you can get because acrylic does not come out of fabric - http://uniform.ca/61-lab-coats)

Fine Mist spritzer bottle (slows the acrylic from drying out) - Make sure it hasn't had anything in it or the chemicals will transfer into the water.

Smart phone (optional but is really helpful in a number of ways)

** If you chose inexpensive paint your colours mixing will be different than with artist grade paint, and YES you need to START with good paint!
