Acrylic Painting II - Exploring Still Life

Join me for a weekend filled with still life paintings! In the two days you will discover or rediscover your passion for art. Building on what we learned in the Acrylic Painting I class we will begin with what is a life long journey of exploring composition, colour, value, light and shadow. Working from images we shall draw and paint using various techniques to create these small works. By the end of the weekend you will start to understand what you are "seeing" and how to translate that with paint onto the canvas. The plus side is that we will share ideas, laughter and hopefully get all of those questions that you might have about art answered!

Shawna will provide each participant with a table top easel to paint on during the class. There is an opportunity for participants to order their own Table Top easel made locally. Information will be made available at the class.
